We are Goose! hail from the UK and like all things ‘spacey’. Influences are Hawkwind, Farflung, Sabbath, dub and a multitude of others in the infinite corridor of music. Formed to fill an obvious black hole in the music scene locally and universally. Also with a love of vintage equipment, the warmth from an old unwanted, unloved amp is immense! The Goose are four, Jarve Goose plays the guitar, Simon Goose the bass, Tim Goose, drums and percussion and Nik Goose vocals and analogue synth. Four good mates with a vision. UK only dates at the moment. Will the Goose spread its mighty wings and leave this island? Who can tell?

Black Thai - Satan's Toolshed
Boston's Black Thai was formed in 2009 by long time friends Jim Healey (We're All Gonna Die) and Scotty Fuse (Cortez) out of a series of beer-fuelled late night conversations about music.
The two were interested in what it might be like if they got together and jammed on some ideas with no outside pressures, just to see where it might go. It was obvious right away that this democratic songwriting approach would yield interesting results. Elements of each of their other bands, We're All Gonna Die and Cortez, were present but blended with other influences to become its own animal.
Adding his own unique perspective and ideas, bassist Cory Cocomozzi proved to be a perfect match. Completing the puzzle was Scott's bandmate Jeremy Hemond (Cortez, Roadsaw) who came on board after the initial recordings, bringing his Bonham-inspired drumming to the table.

Beaumont Livingston - Speed Up
Beaumont Livingston is a Southern Italy stoner rock band formed in 2007 by Mario Orefice (Guitar) and Ciro Iacoviello (Bass); first line up includes Rocco Palumbo (Vocals/Guitar) and Antonio Ulto (Drums).
Born mainly as Kyuss/QOTSA/Unida cover band, BL finally began to write their own music when Silvio Cogliano replaced Ulto on drums in December 2009. First self titled 5 tracks demo was recorded and entirely self produced in March 2010; the band is currently working on new songs to complete the first album.
The sound can be described as classic stoner rock with strong 70's hard rock and garage rock influences. Beaumont Livingston's lyrics tend to stick to typical rock themes such as psychedelia, drugs, and women.

The Brimstone Days - Get It On
The Brimstone Days aim to be the live band with enough energy to get the listener and the audience caught up in a euphoric thrill. With clear influences from the 70s and with catchy tunes, they deliver retro-rock with a modern twist to dance to.
On the road of becoming The Brimstone Days many genres, plectrum and sticks have been worn out, and this not without result. The two original members, Håkan and Johannes, both feel they are heading towards something big.
After the recordings of the EP "Flowers and Rainbows" during spring 2009 bass player Elias Dellow decided to leave the band. In the beginning this drop-out was tough for the remaining band members since the band now wasn't the power trio they used to be. Shortly thereafter there was a new spark when bass player Hampus Hallgard joined and again the power trio was ready to deliver.
With the EP recorded and a live show that will take you to the flowers and the rainbows, The Brimstone Days has their minds set for bringing you tons of energy next time you catch them at a show, they now stand ready to conquer the stage.

The story began in the year of 2007, when 3 modern Celtic druids gathered somewhere in the mystical woods of Kemper, France. In order to explore other paths of the space-time continuum and finally reach the land of the korrigans, they used their magical knowledge and begun the preparation of potions with psychedelic powers.
Lead under the influence of the great green smoke, rites were inspired by the legacy of the great ancients, such as the mighty Black Sabbath, Iron Butterfly, or the young Queens Of The Stone Age, but also by more local and traditional knowledge, of which Brittany, as a Celtic land, is full.
First results did not take long to come, and an initiative trip was planned after just a few weeks, thanks to a set of nine songs named "...dans les bois" (translate "..in the woods") For download on their MySpace page. The druids gained some notoriety and assurance and, after several public ceremonies, they released a new book of magic spells called LSD, or the delirium of the Salvia dwarf.
Today, the druids are gathering secretly once again, consuming even more drugs in their cauldrons in order to, eventually, introduce the world to a path towards a whole new dimension...
The Shrine formed in the summer of 2008, following a conversation at a party between Josh and Court about Thin Lizzy and Black Sabbath. Soon after this, Baltimore, MD transplant Jeff Murray found his way in contact and the three began jamming.
Josh played guitar, as he had done in Los Angeles die-hardcore punk band Rabies, Court played bass, and Jeff played drums. The simplistic dynamic of the power trio format was recognized between the band and Josh came forward as lead singer. Within six months of heavy and loud jamming,
The Shrine emerged to play across Los Angeles with a demo cd that comprised the first four songs written together. Amongst playing old Hollywood venue staples such as The Troubadour, The Shrine jam out in packed backyards, as well as once playing a bike rally in the middle of the night to parking lot of a hundreds of people, powered by their own generator.Rock On!

Plastic Gods - Part II: Body & Spirit
Plastic Gods is a drone/doom band hailing from Reykjavík, Iceland. The project was conceived in late 2005 by Dagur and Ingólfur as a stoner/sludge band, but as members were found, the sonic assault slowed down to a snail's pace, becoming a morass of droning doom riffs with a dash of lethargic stoner groove to mellow things out - a tribute to all things slow and heavy, dubbed "öræfarokk" (wasteland rock).
The band has played fairly regularly since its inception, and has established a reputation for intense live performances, crushing audiences with high volumes and organ-shaking vibrations. Quadriplegiac, the band's first full-length released in December 2008, is a three-part concept album - an introverted trip that conjures up images of bleak, glacial sands and strangely, feelings of both despair and hope - and has received positive reviews from various webzines and Icelandic publications.

Arrowhead - Liquid Motion
Arrowhead, are a Sydney Australia based band that deliver's on the massive rock experience. Formed in April 2008, this stoner rock trio of experienced musician's are slowly emerging as a force to be reckoned with, ARROWHEAD, have a classic heavy acid rock sound with high energy.
The Band consists of BRETT PEARL, on lead vocals and guitar, he has a unique and powerful, melodic, soulful voice, the guitar sound has a furious bite, with warm tones and rollin bluesy sabbathesqe riff's, smothered in a wall of orange fuzz. DAVE LOPEZ, shares the same passion with massive earth moving bass line's that drive's the band while providing a smooth hypnotic feel. MATT CRAMP., on drums creates a powerhouse of rhythmic grooves with bonhamesqe beats with solid thundering drum rolls that add colour and strength.
Arrowhead, deliver a repertoire of rock solid well created feel good song's ARROWHEAD is a sound that should be heard ,they have an ep self titled, this is just a taste of good things yet to come, with longevity, teamwork and the love of playing music.
Conan are a Caveman Battle Doom trio from the grim North of England. They summon the heavy riff from the ungodly land and crush the skull of the unbeliever. Waves of sludge and graves of foes shall be the aftermath of their ritual.

Blue Aside - Traveler of Time and Space
In all fairness, Blue Aside is comprised of two guys that I used to play with during my Palace In Thunderland daze, Adam Abrams and Matt Netto, along with Joe Twomey on bass. Although Adam handled bass in Palace, he picks up the guitar and handles a lot of the vocals, and he does a fairly deft job of laying down some intense psychedelic soundscapes that recall Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus, Sons Of Otis, Hawkwind, early Pink Floyd, and even a bit of Dinosaur Jr. in the fuzzed and effected out guitar noodling. These two tunes offer up some heavy riffs and solid melodies, along with some fairly eccentric changes and arrangements to keep things interesting.
Fans of the heavy aren't going to be disappointed, as some of these riffs are as heavy and doomed as anything you'll find out there these days, but these three sonic sorcerers really shine on the psychedelic parts, which are more deft, progressive and zonked out than you'll usually find in a lot of acts with similar influences. "Otis' Sun" alternates between painfully longing, delicately beautiful melodies and crushing waves of downtuned Sabbath worship. It's the band's finest moment, with a sharp contrast in vocal s t y l es, featuring effected guttural death growls during the heavier sections. To be honest, this was unexpected, as was the overall heaviness of these two songs. The other song, "The Traveler of Time And Space" is more an introduction to the band, while "Otis" is definitely their piece de resistance and statement of intent, but both songs show excellent potential for growth and a unique spin on a tried and true sound.
Best of all, you can download their demo, they provide a link on their Myspace. I've gotta say, this comes highly recommended, fans of the early Yob material are going to eat this up...

Forged in Flame - The Underground
Amongst the homogenized landscape of metal bands, Forged in Flame have come forward to challenge the genre's typical formula. Mixing equal parts prog rock, metal and doom, they prove that heavy music can still be catchy.
After months of relentless writing, rehearsals and a couple line up changes they began recording at Ante Up Audio with engineers Matt Curry(Ozzy) and Cole Martinez at the helm.
Forged In Flame's demo garnered lots of local attention drawing comparisons to such heavyweights as Clutch, Mastodon and Down.
